Working Joes in Alien Isolation 2
The demo lets a machine occupy the sentence first. That is not mercy. That is Isolation remembering who signed the maintenance contract.
What press actually saw
Several SGF and gamescom write-ups mention a synthetic threat inside the wreck before the thud. Isolation veterans know the face: pale, polite, wrong. The sequel has not published a Joe bestiary, a model number, or a damage table. What it has published is a warning already living in the how-to-play page: make noise for a machine and you may have two problems. A hide that the Xenomorph might walk past can still be a grab. That triangle is why the advisor asks whether the threat is a Joe or the Alien.
Do not empty Isolation 1’s revolver essay into this page. Firearms in Isolation existed for humans and machines, not for the perfect organism. Until SEGA prints a sequel loadout, treat Joes as the reason tools are not only noisemakers. Treat the Alien as the reason those tools still do not win. The stealth notes say it plainly: one plan will not cover both.
Company hardware, company sins
Blake is a Weyland-Yutani arrival. If a Joe blocks a door, remember who authorised the survey. The character page exists so the melee is not flavour. Restoration of power in KG348 is how the lab wakes everything it stored, not only the Xenomorph. If a synthetic is already walking, you are late. Finish the prologue route with a Joe plan and an Alien plan, or the hatch will collect you for someone else’s paperwork.
No dedicated Joe footage has been posted as a standalone lesson. Until that exists, do not invent a video. Use the hide and distract pair, and assume a machine investigates noise too.
